7-20-13. Instead of writing about this event, I would rather share with you the email I received from Kelley the morning after her wedding.
"Joe,
After last night, I am certain that you get this a lot. But I wanted to take a minute before I leave on my honeymoon to tell you that I could not imagine last night going any better. You got the crowd involved, you made it special for us, and you kept me informed and calm. I truly do not have the words to thank you enough. A wedding is an event that is remembered for a Lifetime. A dj has the ability to make or break an event. I will remember last night as the best of my life and you played a huge part in that.
Thank you again,
Kelley Olis"
Big thanks to everyone at Vestavia Country Club for all the assistance and another big thank you to Allison Lewis Photography for taking the picture for me aside from just being a pleasure to work with. Follow her link to view more great pictures from Kurt and Kelley's Big Day.

Dichiara / Stone Reception
7-13-13. "This is why we do this, Bubba!" - Translation: I had a great time tonight at Kim and Spencer's Wedding Reception at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Pelham. Not only did I get to DJ a kick-butt wedding reception but, I got to enhance it with our Feel The Beat Lighting Design. The mood was perfect, the guests were ready to party and the Bride and Groom had an awesome time. In fact, I have never had a bad time doing an Italian Wedding before. That goes the same for Catholic Weddings. So... when you put the two together, you better get ready to have a good time because anything else is unacceptable. Kim, Spencer and their friends and family had the dance floor packed from the first song. Also when it came time for the Tarantella, Kim's father Don and his brother's sang the Lazy Mary to get everyone going. What a great night.

Church / Bryant Reception
7-6-13. Today it rained, rained and rained some more. Soooo.... That meant it was the perfect day for an outdoor wedding at the 4-H Center. j/k. Anyway, you can "plan a pretty picnic but, you can't predict the weather" (Andre 3000). It was a shame too because, all of Catherine and Hunter's guests wanted to stay dry instead of dancing on my wet dance floor. Ce la vie. At least the catering by Jim & Nick's BBQ stayed dry. It was however, really nice to get to work with on of my favorite photographers, Amber Ford again. Also, it is always a pleasure to see and work with my favorite Wedding Planner in the entire state of Alabama, the wonderful and very talented Rachael Grammer of Two Hearts Weddings.
