Ashlock / Crowe Reception
12-8-12. Tonight was Courtney and Aaron's Wedding and reception at Mathew's Manor in Springville. I met with Courtney's mom Leslie a couple of month's earlier and was requested personally for this event. I did a custom sweetheart logo and did some great things with lighting around the hall to give it the requested atmosphere. Courtney and Aaron are an awesome couple. She loves Disney and Christmas so, she had a Winter Wonderland theme throughout Grace hall. I guess that may be why she also hired Wynter Pate to do her photos. Thank you Leslie, Courtney, Aaron and everyone at Mathew's Manor.

Koch / Hadley Reception
12-1-12. Tonight Elliot, Robbie and I headed our way North to Huntsville for Jillian and Brian's Wedding at the Roundhouse Depot. Tonight was also the SEC Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia so I had no idea how the evening would go. We did a Photo Booth, Total-Coverage Lighting and a Sweetheart Logo for Jill and Brian. Also.... I projected the game 10ft tall on the wall behind me so that no one was left out on the outcome. After the game was over, there was one heck of an introduction, followed by one memorable party.Also... you NEED to check out this photographer Ariel Renae. She has the most amazing pictures, website and blog I have seen yet. I love this awesome picture of me above and the rest of the pics from this wedding are unbelievable! In addition... Thanks you Mr. Jeffery Koch Sr. for having me and for the AMAZING GRATUTITY!

Rudloff / Ford Reception
11-10-12. Tonight Robbie, Sean and I drove up to Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman for Tara and Jonathan's Wedding Ceremony and Reception. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. The weather was great, the food was great (supplied by Molly Shook and Happy Catering), the entertainment was supplied by me so all the ingredients were there for a beautiful wedding except.... This was the day of the Alabama / Texas A&M game. After the last down, over half of the guests left. Mostly, sneaking out of the side door. Although faced with the challenge of a defeated crowd, I pressed forward. This was a day for celebration and I always say, "the people that want to be there will be there." We had a great party afterwards and made memories that the guests will keep forever. Big thanks to Charlie and Amber Ford. for the great pics.

They had some great food supplied by Molly Shook and Happy Catering and some great pictures taken by Erin Nolen of Nolen Photography. It was really a pleasure getting to know Becca and Derek. They are one cool and fun couple. Becca even had a section of her and Derek's First dance choreographed to Gangnam Style, which may for one of the coolest first dances I have ever seen. It was another amazing evening. Big thanks to Becca and Derek for having me.

Amanda and Tim are happy to just be with each other and that makes my job a lot more fun and easier. Slowikowski / Bowman Reception
9-22-12. Tonight was Brian and Leisha's wedding at St. Pauls Cathedral in downtown Birmingham. They had an Irish / Gaelic theme to there reception with the decor, the food (Provided by Kathy G. & Company, and the music, of course. This was an awesome wedding because not only are Brian & Leisha a great couple but, they live down the street from me and they are also fellow geocachers. So, to say the least, we had a lot to bond over. The reception was awesome. I wish all receptions were Catholic receptions. Tonight was also the night I broke out "Gangnam Style" for the first time. Big Hit! Thanks to Brian & Leisha for having me and we have got to go out and do some caching soon. Another big thanks to Arden Photography for all the great pics! Bearden / Thurber Reception
9-8-12. Tonight Matthew and I headed over to Vulcan Park for Kelly and Eric's Wedding Reception. Kelly's mom Denise went all out on this one. Not only did she get me but, she also ordered our LED Hi-Boy Tables that I got to control and change colors with my light show. Robbie of Happy Catering was there to supply some great food and Jonathan & Anna Hoomes of Frame Photography did all the great pics. Follow the link to view more great photos from this wedding. It was suppose to rain all day. Not a question of if but, when? Thankfully we had nothing of the sort and everything ended up quite excellent. They even had a cool Light Saber show for their Grand Exit. Thanks Denise, Kelly and Eric for having me.

9-1-12. Tonight was opening day of the College Football season and Katie and Jeremy's wedding reception at B&A Warehouse. Despite the fact that this day is one of the most anticipated days in Alabama, there was still a great turnout and great party as well. Nichols / Fowler Reception
8-18-12. Tonight I headed North to Cullman, Alabama and got ready for Zack and Allison's wedding reception at Stone Bridge Farms. Zack and Allison were a lot of fun. They kept their guests on the dance floor all night long. It really helps a wedding entertainer tremendously when the bride and groom participate in the festivities. Thanks a bunch Zack and Allison. Have fun in St. Lucia.

Sowell / Thach Reception
6-22-12. Tonight I made my way downtown to Lakeview District for Christen and Brian's Reception at the Avon Theater. I have always thought the Avon Theater was a great location for a reception. There are plenty of places for your guests to go afterwards, not to mention I love this room. It is one giant room that keeps all the energy and excitement in one place, which is exactly what happened tonight. Even without Alcohol my dance floor stayed packed all night long. It's weddings like this that remind me why I love what I do. Christen and Brian were great, there wedding party and guests were awesome and a great time was had by all. Thanks to Breanna Fogg for the wonderful pictures. Here are some very kind words from Christen; "Joe brought life to our reception without stealing the show. He easily understood what we were looking for and what kind of entertainment we wanted. There was no work for us to do and no clock for us to watch- he handled it all! The one word to describe our wedding reception is "PERFECT!" Many guests wanted to know who he was and how to contact him. We are more than pleased. Thank you, Joe!!!"
